there is an agent that is very similar to the natural hormones that we have that can induce tanning so we wanted to you try this particular agent in combinations to ultraviolet light to see if these two agents used together could induce tanning in a faster rate in a better way compared to an European ultraviolet light alone the combination therapy resulted in a faster rate of pigment coming back as compared to treatment using ultraviolet light alone I think this is a very important breakthrough because this is a new combinations a new treatment for vitiligo that has a significant promise in helping to improve the care that we can deliver to our patients with vitiligo
